We’re winners!
Last week we attended the local SME Surrey small business awards dinner as finalists in the 'best enterprising business' and 'business innovation' categories. And we were awarded the 'Silver Winners' prize for innovation!
We were judged on whether we'd brought 'something new, different, smarter or better that [would] make a positive difference'. And we're delighted to have been recognised for doing so, coming second from a group of eight finalists!
Our entry was based around how we're helping our trade partners, to ensure jobs are delivered more efficiently, with fewer mistakes, and more likely to be on time.
We’ve worked really hard to integrate our outputs - particularly design work - with what electricians and main contractors need. In other words, making life easier for them. We’ve had lots of good feedback. Our world - audiovisual systems, home cinema, smart home, Wi-Fi, lighting controls - needs detailed design and careful installation, so anything we can do to make the process smoother is a win all round, we think.
We were runners up to the eventual overall winner, who's doing amazing things blending teaching, coaching, therapy and more to offer outstanding educational opportunities. Which is about as good as you can get, so congratulations to Danielle Baron education - we're very happy to have come runners up to you!
